The Datacenterplatform takes your privacy very seriously. We do everything we can to convey the information on our Website with the greatest possible accuracy. When you create a Datacenterplatform account, we may use device IDs, cookies, and other signals, including information obtained from third parties, to associate accounts and/or devices with you.




We may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information when you visit our Platform, use our online services and interact with our online advertisements. This type of information may include your type of browser or device, details of the web pages you have viewed, links you clicked on, your IP address, sites clicked on before coming to our websites and any other information you choose to share when using the “Like” functionality on Facebook. We may use information from a social sign-on using your LinkedIn credentials to create an account or log on. This type of information may include your interests, marital status, photos and comments.



We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.

We may collect information from other sources if you have given permission for that information to be shared. For example information from public databases and marketing companies. This type of information may include your name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, consumer and market research data, purchase behaviour and preferences and information about your lifestyle such as your hobbies and interests.

We only process personal data where we have a lawful basis for doing so, such as:

Will we share your personal data with other parties?


We may disclose your personal data to third parties if needed to provide the services and products available on the Platform, which third parties will process your personal data in conformance with this Privacy Statement. Naturally, they will only receive the data necessary to provide their service. For example, we may transfer your data to services that we often use for events (e.g. Eventbrite) and newsletters (e.g. Mailchimp).


We may also disclose your personal data in the following situations:

  • To our affiliates or subsidiaries.
  • If we are legally entitled or required to do so (for example, if required to do so by legal proceedings or for the purposes of detection and prevention of fraud and other crime or as part of a security audit).

  • When activities to technically improve or adjust the Datacenterplatform are carried out by a third party.  
  • To any other third party with your prior permission to do so.

Your personal data may be transferred, stored and processed in the Netherlands or any other country in which Datacenterplatform (or its affiliates, subcontractors or agents) maintain facilities. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated adequately.

We will only process your data within the European Union. Outside the European Union, we will only process your data if that country provides an appropriate level of protection for your data. This means, for example, that we use a model agreement from the European Commission or make agreements on the handling of personal data.

We are familiar with the ruling of the Court of Justice of the EU of 16 July 2020 with implications for the transfer of personal data. We are currently investigating how best to deal with this. If your personal data is not needed for the purposes as stated above, we will not keep your data for longer than 5 years. Your data will be completely deleted in each case.
